Provided they are used in accordance with the accompanying instructions, PowerTex Batteries are covered by a 2 or 3-year limited warranty, depending on the specific product. However, this warranty does not extend to instances falling under the following circumstances:

  1. Package Damage or Torn Stickers: If the package is damaged post-purchase or if the stickers on the battery are torn, the warranty coverage is void.
  2. Over-Charge or Over-Discharge: Damage resulting from over-charging or over-discharging of the battery is not covered under warranty.
  3. Improper Handling: Damage caused by improper handling, including but not limited to short circuits, impacts, falls, prolonged immersion in water, jump-started, or use of incompatible chargers, is excluded from warranty coverage.
  4. Natural or Man-Made Disasters: Damages arising from natural or man-made disasters such as earthquakes, rainstorms, hurricanes, traffic accidents, fires, etc., are not covered.
  5. Vehicle Breakdown or Mismatched Battery Models: If the battery is damaged due to a vehicle breakdown or use of an incompatible battery model, it is not eligible for warranty replacement.
  6. Unspecified Operations: Damage resulting from operations not explicitly specified in the instructions or deemed inappropriate by Powertex Batteries is not covered.
  7. Non-Purchased Batteries: Warranty coverage applies only to batteries purchased directly through Powertex Batteries. Batteries purchased from unauthorized sellers are not eligible for warranty protection.
  8. Non-Transferable: The warranty is non-transferable and applies solely to the original purchaser of the battery.

Prorated Warranty Duration:

  • Two years prorated for powersports batteries.
  • Two years prorated for deep cycle batteries with a capacity of 20Ah and under.
  • Three years prorated for deep cycle batteries with a capacity of 35Ah and over.
  • Two years prorated for automotive batteries.

Warranty Replacement Process: In the event of a warranty claim, the customer is required to ship the battery to Powertex Batteries for inspection and resolution. If the issue persists despite attempted correction, a replacement battery will be issued. The customer is responsible for all associated shipping charges incurred during the warranty replacement process.

This warranty policy represents the entire agreement between Powertex Batteries and the customer concerning warranty coverage and supersedes any prior or contemporaneous communications or understandings, whether oral or written.
